Bob Moyer, RPM Industrial has been a strong supporter of our Alliston Potato Festival (especially the lawn tractor races) for the past few years. Here, Rick Milne is presenting him with a plaque showing our appreciation for his support.
Well, our Alliston Potato Festival is over for another year. What a great festival from the time the parade kicked off until the concert in the park on Sunday night. We could not have asked for a better weekend. The Floats in the parade were amazing, thanks to all of those who took the time and effort to join in our community event and be part of the celebration. The attractions and the vendors down at the fairgrounds and down on Victoria Street were well attended. The festival was enjoyed not only by members in our community but individuals that come back each year.
The committee would like to thank the committee members, volunteers, the students, the helpers, the gate keepers, the businesses, the sponsors, the non-profit organizations and the town of New Tecumseth for contributing in a big way in making this festival a success year after year. Without a team effort, such an event would be impossible.
We would also like to thank you, the public - without you there would be no festival. Thanks for your support in making this a great event each year.
See you next year at our 42nd Alliston Potato festival.
