Welcome to the Alliston Potato Festival!

This year we are celebrating our 35th Annual Alliston Potato Festival as well as the International Year of the Potato!

We have some new events happening this year down at the fairgrounds (the corner of Church and Beech St - behind the fire hall).

We kick off the Friday night at the Beer Gardens with a band performing for the first time at the Festival, "Midnight Classic and Steel'n Note". Also performing for the first time at our Festival on Friday night will be an all girls' band - they were a big success at the Battle of the Bands held at the Beetonia Hotel and they've also performed at the Schomberg Fair.

Saturday promises to have something for children of all ages. Back by popular demand, we have the Kiddy Commando. Joining us for the first time is the peaceful warrier demonstration, a magic show and a Reptile Roadshow with Jungle Jorgy. Closing off the night, are the Wheat Kings at the Beer Garden.

The CCR tribute band will be performing at the Arena on Nelson Street - a must to see for the CCR fans. We open up Sunday morning with the Baby Contest followed by the Doug Barr Kids Show and the Reptile Roadshow with Jungle Jorgy.

Glen Cameron and his band will be appearing at the fairgrounds on Sunday afternoon. Glen is well known in the community for his easy listening country songs. Just the right combination to close of this year's festival.
