Cicci School of Dance

CICCI SCHOOL of HIGHLAND DANCE
Performing Sunday, August 8th at 2pm
at the Fairgrounds

Cicci School of Highland Dance was formed by dance instructor/director Mary Cicci around 1994 in the basement of her George Street home. It grew to become New Tecumseth's largest Highland Dance school offering recreational and competitive highland dance classes for ages 4 and up. Year after year students were able to proudly perform at various local and community events. Sometimes even with pipe bands or pipers. Members of the studio have even performed with York Region Police Pipes and Drums in events like the 2008 York Region Police Military Tattoo, a benefit for the Special Olympics. Around 2002 Maggie MacMurchy came on board as an instructor and partner. Late last year when Mary announced her upcoming retirement from the dance school in preparation the studio was moved to Maggie's house on Queen Street Alliston . The school name may be changing later to The MacMurchy School of Highland dance where Adult and Children introductory classes will be offered over the spring and summer here at the new location following our year end recital/ceilidh in May. For upcoming class information please call (705) 435-1403
